Does DVUSC run Miniroos and Junior Player Trials?

The club does hold player trials under certain circumstances.

  • Where the club has multiple teams in the same age group, players may have the opportunity to trial for the higher grade team
  • Where the club is recruiting players in teams U12 and above.

Player grading may occur to ensure the player is placed in the correct age/grade/standard.

Players may be asked to play up an age group or if they haven’t played at all before, asked to play down an age group (U8 through U11)

The club strives to ensure the player gets the development they require, rather than being in a team that is well above/below their standard.
